Clinical Counselling
We offer an array of therapeutic options in order to best support a wide range of individual needs. Our focus is on innovative, bottom-up, experiential approaches. In addition to a virtual meeting option, we offer counselling services at both our in-town and farm locations.
We invite you to choose where you'll be most comfortable as you begin your healing journey, and explore from there. Our office offers several inviting counselling rooms and a play therapy space, enabling us to meet the needs of individuals and families of all ages.
All intake sessions are conducted either virtually or at our in-town office. At your first session, we will work with you to create a customized wellness plan. This might include farm-based sessions, in-office or virutal sessions, or a combination of these options.

Stable Roots creates a calm, therapeutic space that is integral to your healing process.

Release. Regulate. Reconnect
At Stable Roots, we understand that trauma is not just a memory, it is stored in the body. When the nervous system is overwhelmed, unprocessed stress and trauma become trapped in muscles, fascia, and the brain’s survival circuits. Movement therapy provides a safe, experiential way to release trauma and restore a felt sense of safety, connection and regulation.
How Movement Therapy Supports Healing
-
Regulates the Nervous System - Rhythmic, patterned movement helps shift the body out of survival mode by regulating the nervous system and lower brain regions.
-
Releases Stored Trauma - Gentle, intentional movement completes interrupted stress cycles, helping the body let go of held survival states.
-
Integrates Mind & Body - Connecting movement with breath and awareness helps individuals feel grounded, safe, and embodied.
-
Fosters Resilience - Moving in a supportive, relational space helps rewire the brain towards trust, connection, and regulation.
