Did you know that your brain is 85% water?? So, if you don’t take in enough water on a daily basis, you actually impair your brain’s ability to function well.
Water helps your brain to make the electricity need to communicate, not just with other parts of the brain, but your entire body. In fact, not getting enough water can have a negative impact on several body functions.

Consider these 7 reasons for increasing your water consumption.
Losing just 2% of body water through sweating can significantly decrease physical performance.
Mild dehydration reduces brain functioning and memory.
Drinking water can help to relieve headaches, especially when dehydrated.
Drinking plenty of water helps to prevent and relieve constipation.
Water helps to reduce the incidence of kidney stones.
Hangovers are partly caused by dehydration, which can be reduced by drinking water.
Drinking water before meals can help with weight loss.

But getting back to the brain…..The brain is involved in everything that you do. If it isn’t working properly, the rest of you won’t work properly, either. Not having enough water interferes with the brain’s ability to send signals and communicate…….so in these hot days of summer, be sure to take a full water bottle with you! Drink up!!
